Years ago, it became a tradition for me to eat a ‘bacon and eggs’ breakfast in every new city or place I visited. I started posting a photo of it on social media calling it a “breakfast of champions”. It just grew from there. Now I have created this website to collect all those photos from my social media feeds and have them in one place (and give my daughters something to do to search back and find them!)
According to the Online Dictionary, the meaning of ‘Breakfast of Champions is:
“An ironic praise for food or drink that is generally considered unhealthy, especially when one consumes it for breakfast or early in the day. Taken from the advertising slogan for Wheaties brand cereal, known for featuring prominent athletes on its packaging“
